Zoning applications originate in the Community Development Department. After Planning Commission approval, applications are considered by the City Council. Rezonings do not take effect until the Ordinance has been published. This is typically on Tuesday or Wednesday, one week after City Council approval.

This includes the zoning classification, the effective date, and the ordinance number for the current zoning and up to four previous zonings for a property. If a zoned property is adjacent to a street, the boundary is the centerline.
